Winner winner, chicken dinner

Why do these five people I live with always want dinner? Not only that, the first question they ask me in the morning is "What's for dinner tonight?!" Or my husband will call on the way home from work just to see what's being served up that night for dinner. DINNER. Why does it vex me so? I realized somewhere along the line that I hate cooking. I LOVE baking. I'll bake all day long! Cookies, cakes, pies, oh my! But when it comes to cooking, I just don't like it. I don't know if it's because no one likes my cooking, or I just don't like to cook. Could go hand in hand. When will the natives stop wanting dinner? Can't they just open a can of tuna? I guess not :(
The funny thing is, I LOVE to eat! I'm a bit of a foodie, love trying new things, going out to new places to eat, watching cooking shows and tasting new flavors, but I just hate doing it. I like sampling and trying but not the actual doing. I don't want to be like this, I'd like to like to cook. How can one change their outlook on cooking!? HELP! They're always hungry!

Leftovers tonight.

Hello, 2015!

These are just a few rants from my brain that have been building up. I would love to start a conversation about any and all of these topics. Be warned, if you like paragraphs and comma's, you won't find many of them here ;-)

Why do women have to be so critical of one another? Why do Moms have to judge what other Moms do? Why do we have to be unhappy as a size 12? These questions have been haunting me for a while now. I don’t know if it’s just because I’m getting older or maybe because I’ve just witnessed so many women being too hard on themselves & others and I’m kind of sick of it!!! I can use all the old sayings “don’t judge a book by it’s cover.” “Walk a mile in their shoes…” They may be sayings that have been around for sometime, but they couldn't be more true. SERIOUSLY. Women want to make me scream! And why do some women hate men so much? (ok, maybe I’m going to deep on that one). I feel like we can learn a lot from our male counterparts in the way of not taking things to heart, not quick to judge, letting go of petty things and the overall “it’s cool, man” attitude. I've heard some women say things like, “that’s just my personality.” I’m here to say that you can change your outlook. You can even change your circumstances if you need to. You can change your attitude. I’m in awe of the Kardashians. Not in the way the rest of America seems to be, but I’m in awe of how these people are even famous and I’m in awe that people love them. I don’t get it. Why do we care? There are people starving on the streets of NYC, even the streets in your suburban town and Kim K is over here wearing a Jean Paul Gaultier gown and it seems like we (as a society) care more about that than the starving people in our town. Makes me want to scream. Maybe it’s because I have a daughter. She’s nine. I don’t want her to even think about impressing people with her labels or getting the right make up or wearing the right backpack. I want her to be happy with who she is, be confident in the way that God made her. Use her talents and gifts in the right way. I want her to be smart and educated, to love others! I don’t want her to stress over the way she looks and who's wearing what to the awards shows. For goodness sakes we have whole TV shows dedicated to what stars are wearing. We have magazines stalking celebrities to the store just to see what they look like. This is disgusting. If we only put our money into things that mattered we just may start making a difference.
Oh, I have a few sons too. I know the male brain is quite different but I’ll do my best to help them look at the inside of a woman!!! To look at what really matters.
Can we as a society of women start encouraging one another? I am pretty sure that all the Moms I know are really doing their best. There really isn’t a need to condescend or pick apart what another Mom is doing. Ok, so it’s not the way “you would do it.” Who cares? We’re all beautifully different. Just stop it. Be nice. Say Thank You.
I have really been enjoying the TLC show “My big fat fabulous life.” The main character on the show is Whitney. She is 380lbs and completely happy with herself. Sure, she has concerns that being that large isn’t healthy so she started dancing again after years of being out of the studio. I just love her whole attitude. She is at peace with where she is in life. We aren't always going to be the weight we want, the size we want, in the job we want, but learning how to be ok with it is a skill that has to be practiced! If you’re sitting there thinking something negative about Whitney, I will remind you of the saying “until you walk a mile in her shoes, don’t judge.” Can we stop looking at models in magazines thinking that’s what we should look like? You’re being duped ladies!!! I say live life! Officially OVER IT. Anyone else?

My first born

This chick is going to be 8 in a few weeks! My how time flies. I have heard so so so many people say "oh if only I could stop time," or "they grow up to fast." These sentiments never really made sense to me. I love to watch my daughter grow. She is more lovely everyday. If you have never had the chance to meet Eden, well, let me tell you a little about her. She is SO SWEET. They don't make em any sweeter! Imagine your favorite dessert dripping in all it's goodness.... yep, that's Eden. She is a typical first born, very responsible and caring and helps around the house and she listens very well. (FYI she is still a sinner though, as we all are). I can't imagine having anyone else for a daughter. I guess I write this to wish her a happiest 8th birthday a few weeks early. Stay lovely, stay beautiful and stay strong in your faith and countenance. I will always love you.

Thoughts for today

How awesome is Instagram? I can document my life in pictures with really cool filters! I can remember all the sweet moments, because really, who wants to remember the crappy ones? With four kids there are plenty of sweet and crappy moments. I have been super blessed with marvelous children and I love being their Mom. But not all the time. There are moments when I would rather put on a suit and go out to the "real world" where I would be recognized for such feats of business strength. No one around here says "hey, thanks for cleaning up those crumbs on the floor, how do you do it?" It took some time to reconcile the fact that I am a stay at home Mom (with the exception of working 12 hours a week at the local Bonefish). It's what I always wanted to be, a Mom. I dressed up as a Mom one year for Halloween. I had curlers in my hair, babies pinned to my skirt and was pushing a stroller. I couldn't wait. Oh sweet Stacey, I was in for a surprise. The dream I was living in my head doesn't quite match the day to day life of a Mom and wife. One of my favorite movie quotes is from the movie "Hall Pass" where two husbands were talking about their wives and asking how could the wives be complaining? "we've made all their dreams come true." I had a nice belly laugh after hearing that one :) Life is complicated. The intricacies of careers, hopes and reality all collide and you're left trying to piece together what really matters. My advice? Find a great husband, discipline your kids, and let go of self.

Those are my thoughts for today.

Judah and the potty....

It was only a few weeks ago that Judah told me he was going to use the potty when he turned 5. He had zero interest in using it and didn't mind one bit to walk around for hours in a saggy wet diaper. So i tried the "no more diapers" approach two weeks ago but all day long I just cleaned up puddles of pee. That wasn't the result I was looking for. My new approach was after his birthday I would just tell him that it was time. He is a big boy of 3 now. So Judah awoke the day after his birthday and I told him he was a big boy now and needed to use the potty. IT WORKED! This evening we held our very first "potty party." Nanny & Grandpa were in attendance and we all witnessed Judah's feats of the toilet a few times! I am very proud of my little man, i love to see the light bulb click. Well done, Son. Well done.

Little Time....

I don't get a lot of "me" time. I used to be very bitter about that. "When is it my turn to go out." "I just want five minutes to myself." "I can't even function without time to myself." "if I could just get them to bed earlier..." Just writing this down and reading it, makes me sound like I'm 6 years old and whining to my mother.
Let's look at some facts. I chose to have 4 kids back to back to back to back. I love it having kids close together (so far). They're good friends and good enemies, which makes more opportunity for learning and growing. This is my life now.... kids, boogers, diapers, playdates, disciplining, refereeing, hugs. This will not be my life forever, I think that's where Mom's lose sight and start drowning in the day to day without even realizing that time with their precious gifts is just moving on. We are not guaranteed to live until we're 85, you never know where life is going to take you. Carpe Diem is the trusty saying, but it's so true! What am I doing to carpe my diem you ask? Stopping my cleaning to color with my daughter, trying to take lots of pictures, getting on the floor to really listen to Canaan's stories (and boy, they're long), singing at nap and bedtime to Judah, cuddling Zion, having picnics, building forts. Tell me how you treasure & have fun with your kids!!
Don't worry, I am far from perfect. There are times I yell louder than I should, times when if I hear the word "mommy" one more time, I'm gonna go hide in the car. Those are the times I need perspective. I need to take a deep breath and remember, in a few years, I'll be wanting them to need me for EVERYTHING.
Most kids go to school at age 5. So basically, I have five uninterrupted years with my kids. I have prolonged that five years by having more kids. My daughter is six already and is in PM Kindergarten and LOVES it. I won't be getting her back, school has won. (meaning, she will never be begging us to homeschool her). I guess what I'm trying to say is, we get such LITTLE time with our kids, I want to cherish it! So what you can't go to the bathroom alone? So what if bedtime gets all screwed up and they are up later than normal! So what if they are home from school a day or two or three? I hear a lot of "what am I going to do with my kids when they're home from school?" Um, they're kids. They can usually find things to do. Send them outside, give them some paper and scissors, cook with them, read to them, dance with them, make a fort for them? Just to name a few. Keep in mind, we get such LITTLE time with them! Parents seem to complain about their kids "growing up to fast!" Isn't that the point? I mean, aren't we having kids to raise them as they age and then be self sufficient adults? I agree, it happens fast, but doesn't life happen fast? This brings me back to my original "little time" theme. I am happy that Eden is six and learning, growing, doing chores, reading, making friends etc. Because isn't that the point?
Everything goes by fast: High school, college, late 20's? Everything is going at super speed! Before you know it, our small itty bitty children will be moving out, making a life of their own, getting married and not calling you. It's time to cherish these moments. Be thankful for them, God has given them to you as a blessing, not a curse.

I SO enjoy Zion Adam

I was thinking this morning, how un stressful having baby #4 is. No worries about nap schedule or making the "right" or "best" choices for him. I don't worry about his cries, i can usually tell now what is wrong. No worries about diaper rash, or taking him to the store. I don't worry about milestones, since I don't even know what they are anymore. I'm not glued to books or blogs or shows that will tell me how to be a better Mom to my baby. I write this not to say I'm the perfect Mom, I'm far from it. I'm just commenting on life..... and how easy #4 has been! He rolls with the punches. Guess what? If you wake him up from his nap, he'll fall back to sleep later. If his lunch isn't exactly at 12pm, he survives. He loves thumb sucking because I don't swaddle his arms like I did on my first 1 or 3 :) Because of the no swaddle, he can fall asleep anywhere. I just feel relaxed (go figure). Yes, part of that is my personality, but the other part is that I've been here before. He will survive and thrive even if his room isn't painted a baby color, which it kind of is, by default. I've just really enjoyed him. I cherish the hugs, the kisses, the squeals, the laughs, his little teeth, his hair, his looks. I love love love it. I totally recommend having a 4th ;-)

Let me just say though, that I wouldn't change having a first or second or third!! That's how you get to the 4th :)

I love life

Life, it's a complicated beast, but I love it. I embrace it, all of it's ups and downs, heartaches and jubliations. I think you should too. What do I like about life? Hmmm, love, kids, air, storms, getting mail, having babies, reality tv, running (when not pregnant), good good wine (pregnant or otherwise), summer nights, the ocean air outside my window, friends that have come and gone throughout the years, I love it all!
People mistake me for not caring, stating, I'm "too laid back." This doesn't mean I don't care, it generally means things don't bother me, because I know God is in control. If you truly say you believe that God is in control, I think you should be laid back. Dare I say worrying is a sin? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying cast all your inhibitions and cares out the window. There are still cares and concerns in life, but let's assess what's heavy and what's light and go from there. God is in control, really. I mean, do YOU want to be in control? Not me, usually things go down hill when I'm in control ;-)
One thing that's been on my mind lately, it seems like Christians (in general, not you persay) really love to praise God and speak about God's work in their lives when times are good. Why can't we praise God when times are bad, sorrowful, hard and just downright ugly? He is still there with us, He is walking us through the bad times, bringing us to our knees where we should always be. When we're on our knees, our pride is no where to be found, what do we have left when crying out to God about what is troubleing us? I really appreciate when people are on their knees, giving glory to the creator even when times are discouraging to say the least.
Anyways, just random thoughts again that I needed to type out....

My kids make me smile

I spent the week with my fabulous children, Eden 5, Canaan 3 & Judah 2. I was let in on their lives by sharing a room with them. It had advantages and disadvantages, but more advantages than not. One thing I LOVED was how they wake up in the morning. Canaan & Judah share a room so their wake up is different from Edens. Judah wakes first and lays in his bed saying, "Caannnnaaaannnnn....." he pauses. Canaan doesn't wake up right away. Then you hear some rustling after Judah has called for him a few times and you hear from the other bed, "Juuuudddahhhhhh....." and they go back and forth with animal noises that resemble birds and dog barking. This is how they wake up. and it makes me smile.
Eden has the sweetest spirit, she cares for her brothers deeply and is sad when they get hurt. She helps them get their toothpaste on their toothbrushes, gets an extra dessert for them from the dessert table, plays games with them, picks them up (which they love) & reads books to them.
and it makes me smile
Canaan hopes that when he grows up, he can be a train.
and that makes me smile.
Judah has a raspy voice.
and it makes me smile.
Eden makes me more cards than Hallmark has in their warehouse.
and it makes me smile.
She also called someone out at at the grocery store for buying too much of one product because it was a "waste of money."
and that made me smile. (sorry grocery store woman buying too many grapes)
They give me hugs, need me on a minute by minute basis & I couldn't ask for more. Well, one more I guess.

Babe #4 and other things

I have to admit, I am crazy in love with baby #4 already. Just thinking about holding him in my arms those first moments is so sweet and precious. Each baby has their own special thing about them when they're born. Eden was adorably amazing at nursing, she surprised me. Canaan had thee most perfect head shape & just stared at me in our room. Judah had these big lips you just wanted to kiss. What will Zion (maybe) have? I get excited just thinking about it.
I often feel bad that I had all c-sections. I've always *wanted* to be the earthy home birth Mom, but it didn't work out that way for me. And in the same breath I thank God everyday for the emergency c section that saved my daughter from further danger when she was born. But as a woman, you sit and think of how your main job is to bear children and push them out into the world and somehow by having a c section, you've failed at your main objective as a woman. I don't write this for you to feel bad and tell me everything is going to be ok, I'm passed that now. I am just writing to share. You see, Eden was under distress in labor after being induced & in labor for 23 hours. I was pushing, she was crowning, but everytime I pushed, she went further back up, trying to come out my lungs :) Wrong way sweet girl! So they cut me open and took her out, taking with it some of my dignity. My next two were planned c sections since the hosptial and doctors wouldn't let me have a VBAC. Now with numero four, it's another c section. It's such a paradox, the way I feel about it all. It's only with Gods grace that Eden Grace was brought safely into the world, and by Gods grace, I continue to have children through my cut open uteris. I am thankful.
So Zion will come out on a set day in the first days of September (one of many good things about a c section). And I will hold him & thank God for his life, and mine. I thank God for each one of my gifts. They are all so precious. I like the picture above taken from my phone at the beach, there is space in the sand for more. I feel like no matter how many kids you have, there is always room to love another. God will bestow these blessings to you through many different ways, the old fashioned way, the cut open way, the adoption way, the foster way etc etc. His plan is perfect.

Judah

Judah has been waking up VERY early, and I am talking 5am ish. This is not his normal wake up time, but for whatever reason he is waking up. It's pretty consistent too. I could be bitter at Judah, angry at him for his early call time in the morning, but instead I've tried to cherish this precious time with my youngest. How could I be mad at this face? So we wake up, cuddle on the couch for a minute, make coffee, eat toast and chat about the day. He's a good 5am buddy and I thank him for the time. Thank you God for the priveledge to take care of this image of yours.

Weight, food, body image, God.

So why can't women be happy with the size that they are? I mean, I'm talking about skinny, thin, in shape women. These women can't wrap their minds around the fact that they're 5'6" and a size 6. You hear them say, "oh I'm so fat." I've been beginning to think that I've got a problem with body image, food and my attitudes towards them. What is wrong with being a size 8? Now, don't get me wrong, this blog is not written so that you can leave a comment like, "Stacey, you look great!" "Stacey, don't worry about it!" bleh. I want women to take a cold hard look at why we do the things we do. Why we eat half a carton of ice cream (oops, maybe that's just me!?). Why can we only tell women that have lost weight, "hey you look great!" They may look great in terms of our presuppositions on weight and heath, but perhaps they're 100lbs overweight... I think they can still look great. Of course I'm not promoting being unhealthy or obesity. But do you think telling someone that is overweight that they look great will trigger thoughts in their head like, "wow, I should just gain more weight!" No, I don't think so. Ok, I'm getting off track. What I want to know is, what is the lie that women are believing about their size 8 that they can't even be comfortable in it. Women are being deceived into thinking that super skinny is the norm. That super skinny is cute, that super skinny is the only way I can live happily. Life has started, it's not waiting for you to lose weight. Live your life at your current weight! Love, hug people, go to the beach. When we did get so wrapped up in what other people think? UGH! Being the Mom of a young daughter is scary, but one thing I try to impart to her is DON'T CARE WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SAY ABOUT YOU!! The earlier we can learn this lesson, the better. We need to find our worth in God.

How does God say we should live? Do everything for HIS glory, love others, die to self. This may mean that we put ourselves on the back burner, forever. Where does it say in the Bible that we are to put ourselves first? Where does it say, put others first, then make time for yourself? It doesn't!! It's hard in our culture to teach these truths. From TV, magazines, movies, friends, all over the place, we're told to put ourselves first, take care of YOU. We want attention, we want the glory, we want the money, we want to be the best. We want to be the skinniest, we want to know the most. ARGH. Stop, stop stop stop stop. Be kind, don't gossip, look out for others, go to church where you can receive God's blessings or even be used to be a blessing. Look around you, thank God for your life. And stop whining about your weight.

The End

September

Things I’ve been wondering:

So, why in the world do people name their children after someone, then call them by their middle name? What?

Why in the world does Joy Behar annoy me so much? What?

How in the world will American Idol last with J Lo as a judge? What?

Did you know?

Portland Oregon is the #1 hub for child sex trafficking? What?

I need a break from Facebook. What?

That only old people drive Champagne Buicks. What?

Not everyone is green. What?!

That I think American Christians may be watered down. What?

I love Eminem. What?

Twitter seems like a waste of time. What?

Life without Facebook, my journey through lent....

Ahhh, life without facebook. You know, I wanted to pick something harder than soda, which is what I gave up last year. Soda was VERY difficult since I heart it very much. So I chose Facebook since that is something that almost has a grip on me, as it has on a lot of us (c'mon you farmville people). Well, I have to tell you, soda was way way harder. Giving up facebook was almost freeing in a sense. I stopped thinking in status update form. I didn't care what Joe Shmoe was up to at the moment. Of course, I missed my friends and seeing what everyone was doing, but it wasn't hard to stay away. This means that next year for lent, I'm debating on giving up TV! Yes, I said it, TV! Say it isn't so!
What have I learned after 40+ days away from FB? Well, first off, I learned that I'm still on the internet WAY too much. Emails, blogs, coupons, ebay, gmail chatting, house searching & the list goes on. Yikes! What would I do without the internet? Of course one might say, "well you managed to live without it for 22 years..." Um, yeah, but now our society depends upon the internet. I'm not equipped in my house to even live without being online. We don't have a phone book, I like printing out my coupons online & try doing a house search without it!! Am I supposed to read picture-less colorless ads in the newspaper? I think not :) I can live without cable, but don't take away my Firefox!
I discovered tea while I was away, morning tea....mostly hot tea. Ok, I always drank tea, but now it's more often. But I noticed it's dwindling now that the weather is getting nicer. Cranberry Zinger, yum.
I have also given up the TODAY show and I've switched to FOX and friends on FOX News. The TODAY show was just getting really fluffy, or maybe just maybe I started wanting to hear real news? Hoda and Kathie Lee, really?
I signed up for gmail so I could talk to my Bff without FB.... it has all my old AIM contacts on there, so funny... I forgot about AIM! Do you remember when AIM was the BOMB? Forget about texting, just chat with me on AIM, no, not really.
Ok, so my return to FB will not really be in full force. I am planning on scaling back a bit. Maybe just logging in at night so I don't feel my time wasted during the day looking at so and so's friends pictures. Sometimes I don't even know how I get to Susie McFarlands pictures. Who is she anyways?
Well, I'm glad I'm back, I missed all of you!! Well, almost all of you ;-)

March has escaped me....

Where has March gone? I realized I have only posted one blog during the elusive month of March, but that doesn't mean topics weren't on my mind.... I thought about blogging about those stupid things Mom's put in their grocery carts to drape the seat so their baby is comfortable? Doesn't get germs? I don't get those nor do I like them. When I see them I think my skin hurts. I was also going to blog about how much I love my little family of five. I enjoy them all in their own ways. Rob is so loving, Eden is a ray of sunshine, Canaan is cuddly and Judah is a joy and LOVES his big brother and sister. They make my day complete and I find much happiness in them. I was also thinking about posing the question, why do pagans celebrate Easter? It doesn't make sense to me why someone who isn't a Christian would even want to celebrate it...? The mere sight of bunnies and eggs and baskets and candy and fake grass just make me cringe. I want no part of that. I would rather be more purposeful in my parenting (& life), and really focus on the true meaning of Easter and for that matter, everything! What are pagans doing on Easter Sunday anyways? sigh. I could blog about my baby being 1 in two weeks! I told Rob it's time to have another, we'll see how it goes ;-)
Well, I'll think of something really good and get back to this blog thing.

Christian Music Sucks

Let's be honest here guys, Christian Rock, Christian Rap...sucks. Sometimes even the words are so corny you can't even help but laugh. Not to mention the music aspect of it isn't exactly radio worthy. Why do we have this separation of Christian/Secular music anyways? Can't Christians talk about their break ups, tragedies and likes in the "secular" realm?
Jesus is coming back someday for the church. He is going to reconcile everything back to himself. This means, yes, even music. He will take what may be imperfect and make it perfect and his Kingdom will be complete. I urge you to see that "secular" music also has redemptive qualities. I can point to Christ through many secular songs. Coldplay, The Fray, Pink. Take a look at some lyrics,
"I found God on the corner of first and amistad
where the west was all but won.
All alone, smoking one last cigarette,
I said where you been?
He said ask anything.
Where were you when everything was falling apart?
All my days were spent by the telephone, it never rang all I needed was a call that never came to the corner of first and amistad.
Lost and insecure, you found me, you found me lying on the floor, surrounded surrounded....."
Can you see how that may point to God? Of course I think we should be cautious and not listen to everything, but you still have to recognize the heart of the issue. Why are we as  Christians keeping ourselves in a bubble of fiction when we're here on earth to speak the truth to people who don't believe? Why put yourselves in a created reality that many others don't share? How can you talk to your unbelieving friends about the underlying messages in songs, movies and TV shows if you refuse to listen or watch? It makes no sense to me. How about these lyrics by Coldplay,
"Are you lost or incomplete?
Do you feel like a puzzle?
You can't find your missing piece Tell me how do you feel?
Well I feel like they're talking in a language I don't speak And they're talking it to me."

Pink seems to be screaming for something different,
"I don't wanna be the girl who laughs the loudest
Or the girl who never wants to be alone
I don't wanna be that call at four o'clock in the mornin'
'Cause I'm the only one you know in the world that won't be home
Ah, the sun is blindin'
I stayed up again
Oh, I am findin'
That's not the way I want my story to end."
If you know these lyrics, you can discuss them with friends, family, even strangers. We were with friends once at a coffee/video shop in Winter Park when some guy just came up to us and started talking about Mozart. It was interesting and we talked to him about seminary in the end. I'm sure he was drunk, but the discussion about music led elsewhere, and that's what I'm talking about.
Christian, God is everywhere. He isn't just holed up in heaven looking down upon us. He is here, among us. And we should be among His people too.
There is a time for Christ centered music, and that is in church. Here is where I will bless you with a beautiful rendition of "Be thou my vision" by Pedro the Lion (Thanks Tim).
Again, these are my rants, here is another take on the subject. This is from Richard Pratts wesbite, thirdmill.org
"So, as we consider music of any sort, the point is not that we should not listen to music produced by sinners. The point is that we are not to take pleasure in the sinful aspects of that music, or to be persuaded by them to sin (cf. Rom. 12:2). As I wrote in the answer Rap 'n' Roll, music is usually a mixture of good and bad aspects, just like most other things in life. The Bible does not teach us to avoid all things and people that are infected by sin — to do that we would have to die, because only in heaven does such perfection exist. Rather, it teaches us to be in the world but not of it (cf. 1 Cor. 5:10).

We are to love and fellowship with other people, even though we know that everyone is a sinner, and even though anyone might cause us to sin in some way. On the other hand, we are to avoid those who are likely to cause us to stumble (1 Cor. 15:33). It is a matter of degree, and it is person specific. What causes others to sin may not be what causes you to sin. The point is not to avoid what causes others to sin, but to avoid what is likely to cause you to sin. If you know from experience that your favorite music does not influence you toward sinful thoughts, emotions or behaviors, and that it does not stumble others (1 Cor. 8), then there should be no impediment to you listening to it."

Don't throw all inhibitions to the wind and become a serial killer by listening to some metal bands the promote such things, but seriously consider WHY you listen to what you listen to and should you "ban" music that you hear on the radio? Just some things to consider.
